Malachi
Udoka Malachi makes music at the seam where the machine starts to feel something. Working under the banner Robots Will Cry, the self-produced project pulls funk bass lines and Rhodes-style seventh chords through a haze of glitched synthesis — retro warmth running on future hardware.
The debut single "Soul Train" opened the era with an immediate bass line and a hook that stays understated even as it lands, writing about the people pulled toward the glow of fame and the restlessness that follows them there.
Robots Will Cry is six tracks of that same tension: steel and soul, held at the exact moment they blur.

Robots Will Cry runs on three colours, two typefaces, and one rule: the red is a signal, never a surface. Everything below is the live system this site is built from — the same values, pulled from the same tokens.

Black is the ground
Every surface starts at Black 6 C. Lighter panels are the exception and never go above 5% lift.

Red is a signal
Bright Red C marks one thing per view — the live control, the primary action, the current track. Never a background.

Display never sets copy
Shelton Drawn is a wordmark that happens to be a font. It takes headlines and nothing longer.

Motion decelerates
Everything eases out, nothing bounces. Reduced-motion settings turn the whole system static, not degraded.
